How to tell if...


if you dont have a frequency counter then talking to someone on SSB and asking them to listen while you adjust your clarifier while tx'ing will let you know .
 
Ok, because if it is unlocked then it will go so far out of frequency that they wont be able to hear you anymore?

A locked clarifier will effect your RX only, an unlocked clarifier will effect your TX and RX.
