how to wire up a texas ranger /connex mic to 4 pin

Both radios should have the same wiring as a standard Cobra 4 pin mic - if I remember right.

Stock Ranger wiring:
1- Shield (Ground)
2- Yellow (Audio)
3- Red (Transmit)
4- White (Receive)

where does black go as it is got 5 wires in the mic it self

If you are using a Ranger mic on the Connex; then use the above wiring.
Or are you using a different mic?

In fact, the Ranger mic should already work with the Connex radio.

Ranger, Magnum, Cobra, Connex, Uniden, and Galaxy 4 pin mics All can be interchanged - no rewiring necessary!

the mic had all the wires broke in it , thats why i have to rewire it
