I got my Jo Gunn 6VDX up on my US Tower!

Check out the specs on the Jo Gunn site. It says vertical and horizontal on a single feed line. Because the elements are between horizontal and vertical, you get sensitivity to both.

It may say that, but the simulations say otherwise. I have ran it through a few programs, and there is just a tad vertical. My testing here on it also says otherwise. And the side rejection is more then any other beam I have ever used, and it is very very very tuchy in the direction also. I can just bump my rotor and change db's.

I also run 1/2 heliax direct bury from the shack out to the remote antenna switch at the tower base 90'. Good stuff!!!
