I passed the element 1 morse code exam today and upgraded to General. I would recommend Code Quick to any one wanting to learn the code. I started on Mon the 26th of Jan. and I passed the test today with flying colors. Hope to catch my old 11 meter friends on HF real soon. (hint hint, Happy Hamer, and Mike in TX). All it takes is a dedication to learn it and a little hard work and it really isn't all that hard.

Thanks Paul, that means a lot. I am longer working the 11 meter band. Seems some knothead from Florida is trying to cause me problems with the FCC for freebanding. I guess they are jealous, but for why I don't know. The General class license is an equal oppurtunity license, all you have to do is earn it. Hope to catch you on the HF bands real soon Paul.
