ICOM 5100 cross band mods?


It shouldn't be a "mod", but rather holding down a sequence of buttons when powering the radio up. Moleculo said he saw the procedure listed in the 5100's online manual.

in 5100 according to the service manual for menu works but my 5100 is euro1 ic ...

3 -> TX 70cm ext.
12 -> Crossband
14 -> TX 2m ext.
15 -> the removal converts the transceiver into the japanese version
16 -> the removal converts the transceiver into the american version (IC-5100A)
