For the 756pro2, there is a SEND port on the back. That's for hooking up the to the amp to key it. You can just use an audio cable with an RCA plug on each end if it's like my Ameritron AL-800. Same for the ALC. You don't need to mess around with that other cable from Bob. For the Icom 706, you do need something like that cable.

Yah, the 756 has all the hook ups. i was just saying a guy has alot more options with that radio.

it does have alc - i use one with an al1200 and an al-80b you have to have the interface relay 13pin....
