Im glad you posted that, I was going to get my mic done by him for my 7000, thats how I found this video

You will be when you get it back, i did the weight thing for the mic myself using some free 304 SS 1/4" washers started with 2 settled on 4 for that "right" feel.

I love mine but I found one thing I dont like. I cant use the keypad on my mic to access echolink.

That sucks as the radio has evey thing else.

I AGREE, DTMF memory only, that is GAY on ICOMS part to have a 1300 dollar radio and a 125 dollar mic and you cannot do direct entry DTMF, JUST GAY!
