Icom IC-706 MKii 'FMing' on SSB

I have multiple reports of my Icom 706-MKii 'FMing' on all bands on SSB. I bought this radio many years ago via eBay and mostly used it for CW and thus it may have had this problem all along. I've tried running it off my 30Ah battery and get the same result. I've also struck out on finding anybody who will work on these radios anymore. Any suggestions for troubleshooting or resolving would be greatly appreciated! Thank you DE N1XI

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
