Icom ID-880H: Thoughts/Opinions?

Not sure how many users But there is a system fusion at Rowan college in Glassboro New Jersey and D-Star in Glassboro and Pittman I can hit both. wonder how active they are? is one system better than the other? and should I wait to see where Kenwood goes. I need to find out about both systems first.

I bought the Icom 880h nice radio programing fairly simple.Still learning how the D-Star system works. Thinking about a sound card or TNC set up for the new radio next.
