That is what Dave at DaveMade New Jersey is doing. Actually he's attempting to make it a module. 747 in the garden has the tech in his 29 and 704 in Philly has it in his 2000. There's some rack equipment involved...eq's etc., etc.

Sorry to necro an old post... but here it goes:
This "Mauldulator" crap is just that -- crap. I have a couple of locals running that nonsense -- and let me tell you -- while they are indeed passing much more frequency response across the band, that increase sounds like complete garbage (heavy distortion in the highs and lows), and I've modded my radio for a receive upgrade). Not to mention that they're splattering across four channels.
The only folks in my neck of the woods that are broadcasting in "Broadcast Quality" are the ones that simply incorporated a studio microphone into their setup, and widened their bandwidth a tad (replacing some caps).

As the old saying goes, sometimes less is more. If you're willing to spend a few hundred dollars to sound like over-modulated garbage over multiple frequencies, by all means tickle the Snake-Oil Salesman.
Or, you could spend a couple of hundred less and upgrade a few components and sound much better in the end.

Boys, boys, boys. CB radio is proving over and over the old saying "A fool and his money are soon parted". There is no such thing as a "mauldulator" or Hi-Fi CB radio. These are ficticious creatures like the Lochness Monster and Big Foot.

Splattering 4 channels....oh my GOD....the world is going to end! If my radios can't splatter several channels, they would go into the trash because the audio would have to be flat as a pancake. Did you get kicked off the Copper forum?
