WOW when I heard the news I realised it wasnt a 435/450 joke with the tone of everyone Sad to hear GK gone. He never realy put anyone down dispite everyone else putting him down And that signal my gosh. 73 Rich/kf6gk.

I can't get onto the repeater because of the stupid hill in my area.

I met Rich at a pyrotechnic event. I knew him for blowing stuff up before I knew he was a ham. When I got my ticket it surprised him to no end. I work in El Segundo so I would go by the Kitchenette when I could. I saw him last week. Never thought it would be the last time.

RIP, my friend. RIP.

Rich will be missed more than he ever thought possible. I can't believe how much this has affected me for only knowing him for a short time.

God bless you Rich.

You where loved more than you could of ever imagined.

Back in October, Rich held an anntena raising party. Being a NooB myself, I was just along to watch and learn. I work as a photographer, so I shot the event as it unfolded.

Rich wanted me to be sure to document what was going on and asked for me not to shoot him - but I found a few to sneak in anyways.

Folks always say how hams help each other. I was able to see first hand how it worked. Talking with him afterwards he was VERY appreciative and was surprised how many folks turned out. I'm pretty sure he had no idea how many friends he had.

My picts of that day.
Good going, y'all.
