In search of Palomar SL41

Anyone using it with a Lincoln?

I ran one with a Lincoln 2+ V3, and it sounded good on air, and it had good modulation too. Had a local tech install a six pin connector, jumper for more more bass, and the gain turned up.

Sold it because it caused the Lincoln to jump back a channel randomly. Got my money back then some because it was like brand new.

They stopped making them because Lewis can't stay consistent with anything he's ever had made. Not consistent like his dad was at least.

The sl41 with Bob's mod sounds pretty dog gone good for me. Much better and without the squeal they are born with out of the box. It's just my opinion though

  • @ Hambones amps:
Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
  • @ ShadowDelaware:
Hambones the entire amp section would have to be retuned, and the rf transformers re wrapped.
