I have noticed if I am scanning the right side with Air, Local PD, FD, EMR and so on if the Key tab is on the LEFT where Ham VHF UHF is used to Transmit, The right side suffers from Intermod. Will this solve the problem: PAR VHFDN152 Filter ?
 

Read the advertisement. It says it will 'notch' out the 150 Mhz range, so, you won't be hearing it anymore. IMD would be a factor is you were transmitting on the 150 Mhz range, but not if you are just listening.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
