Just an update on the amplified speaker noise. I am now using a Dipole and it is further away from the speakers (up in the attic) and, I can use the amplified speakers again. Not sure what I am going to do with the CB speaker I ordered when it comes in... I guess it will look good with my CB stuff.

You will find a use for it. Many years ago a wise man credited the acronym CB as meaning Constantly Buying.
