Is there a mod for Pro 28?

Is there a modification for the Realistic Pro 28 scanner for increased coverage. In particular 30-50 Mhz lowband VHF. It currently does 66-88 Mhz, but I would like to go lower if possible. Can't find any controlling diodes.
