I just realized that this Galaxy DX 2527 is not storing the memory after the power is off for more than about 30 seconds. There is no battery on the board, like there is with other radios with this chassis, so I am assuming that it is using a capacitor on the chip somewhere. Is there a way to improvise a battery backup for these, or are they just going to have to lose their memory every time?
