I mean I've heard and read about this unit all over but it seem the 2510 is no longer available, but the lincoln is. And what's the 2600? same thing again?

Anyway, thanks for clearing it up for me!

Re: Is there any difference between the 2510 and the Lincoln

The Lincoln is the Export version of the 2510.

The 2600 is the next generation of the 2510.

It had a few more features than the 2510, it has CTCSS encoding,

Repeater Offsets, Switchable RIT. BUT, The Microprocessor is not Pre-programmed with the 11 meter band like the 2510. So its more difficult to convert.

It will accept a Chipswitch for full coverage, and it keeps all existing features and adds many more. (See www..chipswitch.com for more info)

The Lincoln now has the New Version output final (MRF-455)

Solving the problem of the MRF-477(and MRF-497) going out of production. The Lincoln does have the Microprocessor that is Pre-Programmed with 11 meter band. Usually the Lincoln is slightly more expensive than the 2510 - Always has been.

All of them use similar Transmitter and Receiver technology,

Any of them are a good buy if you can find the right price.
