Issue vx8e

I do this test :

after charging I have power on my vx-8de and let it in rx mode until is completely discharged.
Start @ 11:23hr and stop @ 19:12.
The two last hours I have use the APRS and transmit 20 beacons in 5W.
During this periode I have a few reception.

Do you think is a normal use for the battery?
 
I think yes, if the radio broadcasting works well would be a perfect radio.
Today recive APRS from ISS but with original antenna my APRS packet do not transit on ISS.
 
Hello,

I'm sorry but due to my bad experience with this rig, I have ask the eShop to keep my radio and I have buy a TM-D710 in place.
Then I could not give feedback about the repair.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
