Here is my conventional J-Pole model.
1. is in Free Space showing Average Gain test = 0.996 = -0.02 db error.
2. same model over Real Earth, with a choke on the mast wire to deal with CMC's.
Model shows better than average DBi gain at a low angle to the horizon.
EDIT:
3. J-Pole with a 111" inch DC stub below the antenna that counter balances the currents on the mast and feed line to help mitigate the CMC's.
