what radio,antenna,mic,amp are you using?Like to know,i run a old siltronix1011d,have 4 of them.Will be getting one back soon,dont know what shape it will be in,i think he didnt know how to run it...hehe,73 de JW

Currently I'm running a 2 element Quad @ 37' boom height ( Outdoor Loop ), an RCI2950, a Palomar Lizard 200 amp, and/or a Astroplane @ 30' to the bottom ring ( Build An Astroplane In One Afternoon ). The mic is a handheld Astatic 636L mic.

I have a Siltronix 1011D I am trying to get running, too.

I was travelling from Nebraska through Iowa and into Missouri yesterday and worked a super bassy, studio sounding station out of Massachusetts yesterday before noon. I thought I heard him working a station out of Arkansas?

Might that have been you with 260 out of Massachusetts?

You would surely remember that nice studio sounding station.
