Japan...AM, FM & SSB

25 Japan 70 - Honda

We first got hooked up on SSB and then we tired AM, his signal was a 5 on me and I was a 9 to him. Then we tired FM, his signal was down to a 3 and mine was 7 on him.



He was using a Icom 736 and the audio on that radio was just "crystal" clear on AM. His antenna was a home made yagi 4.



This was the first time I talk to some one on AM or FM from Japan, have done it into Taiwan before but not Japan. He was the only station that I heard from there today.
