I have an oppurtunity to buy a Jonhson Messenger 132 base for $20, it looks ok, the guy said it was doing 10 watts, but no idea if it works now... is an old johnson worth $20?
 

sure I have a few old radios if they work they work if they dont I wouldnt give much for it not knowing whats wrong with it. If you dont spend much on it you can always sell it as a parts radio and get your money back if need be.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
