hey im lookin for some hep ,, i have a johnson messenger 250 without a mic does any body have the mic wireing for the 6 pin mic and or can it be switched to a 5 or 4 pin standard mic plug thanks guys
 

If you find out any info about the wiring let me know. I have the same radio and it is very picky about mics. I have even tried a couple Johnson mics and no luck. The only mic I have found that works on the messenger 250 is the stock brown Johnson hand mic.
 
I am just finding that out.
I been trying to wire a Turner+3 to it and have tried every combo with no luck.
Now I'am going to put the stock mic back on but didn't mark down the wiring when I took it off.
Does anybody have the stock mic wiring.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
