johnson 123 was my first radio it was exalent loved it only thing wrong was that i could not find out back then how to be come a ham i found a johnson trucker stile it works deasont for a oldie but i realy enjoy my 857d yasu hf vhf uhf it goes far but havn't made over seas still it cool now trying for extra class ham later days &73s ke7vlj terry
