Just bought Formac 700. . .

Does anyone out there have any information on the Formac 700 multiband mobile radio? Just bought one on ebay for a good price but finding info on it is nearly impossible.

I just Google eyed a photo. I like the meter in the top center. Looks cool. The channel knob looks stout

Yeah it's pretty neat from the photos, the only youtube video of one is in Italian. From what I've seen it's popular in Europe and the Formac 777 is very desirable.

I own 3 Formac 40's, but they're nothing like your 700. The 40 is AM only, but one of the better built (attention to detail) early O2A PLL Cybernet radios IMO.

I've seen the 40's online here and there but the 700 and 777 seem like white buffalo's. It has multiband capabilities with 200 channels total apparently with low, medium and high power. A lot of other options too. My goal is to get an original manual for it and use it as a base until I get something different.
