ive got a cobra 2000 that will only do 16w supposetly it been gone thru but ive heard other ones that have a whole lot more audio than mine i was just wondering if he is a good person to send this radio to and work some magic on????

Justin worked on my 2000 and it sings! It also has a MOSFET front end so it HEARS too. Its a crime that Justin doesn't do these anymore.
I would also recommend DTB. Maybe DTB can ask Justin what mods he does to the power supply, etc to get the 28+ watts. For that matter, DTB may already KNOW!
My 2000 is sweet and still has only the original 40 channels.

@ heartbreaker3473:Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
