Hi guys,
I have the degen 1103 which I purchased a few months ago. Anyway it was working quite well but now I am having issues. I purchased the kaito 31 antenna to improve reception. Anyway mw stations from far away are coming quite clear. Anyway the issues are with shortwave. When I plug in the ka 31 into the antenna jack of the degen it sounds quiet as if it overides the radio somehow. Also when I disconnect the cord their is stronger static. Also the radio makes an humming sound when I try tune stations.
So could it be something wrong with the degen or is it the k31.
