I found one of these little radios for sale for $150. It's a 220 MHz radio. We do have a 220 MHz repeater in my town - I don't know how often it's used.

But I'm not real sure of the street value of this radio....thoughts?

Before making your decision on buying or not, you should ask around and make sure the repeater is actually on the air and not just a "paper repeater".

I cant speak for you're area but around here, activity on 1 1/4 M is rare and the users seem to think they are elite and act like they do not want new users on "their" band.
