Here is the info for the expanding the transmit on both the USA and EU version of the TM-D710:
- Remove top cover (speaker side)
- Locate jumper area, front-left of main board, near where the voice module option plugs in. If voice module is present, it must be removed temporarily.
- Unsolder the green wire, W601. If it's a 0 ohm resistor instead, remove it.
- For USA Version only: Unsolder and remove J1, a zero ohm resistor. It's located in the painted white box, labeled "1", just under where W601 was located.
- Replace the voice module, if removed; replace the top cover.
- Radio will reset when first powered up. All memories will be lost.
