I have a Kenwood TS-50 with the following problem:
When you turn the transceiver the S meter goes full scale, the speaker has a loud shriek, I could see that the audio IC temperature rises much. Change this IC Audio, electrolytic capacitor changed terms found. After 30 to 50 seconds of receipt back to normal. If this off for a long time to return failure. Did any of you had this fault?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
