Does anybody have the procedure for WARC band mod?
And also Ineed the 11 meter mod, I have a 35.895MHz Crystal?
Thank you.

That radio was made way before the WARC bands were added. It would take a crystal for any new band, to start.

The 11-meter mod starts by choosing which of the three 10-meter segments you will use for the 11 meter band. You swap the new crystal for that 10-meter crystal, and touch up alignment.

Somebody out there should have done a more step-by-step treatment of this on YouTube. Haven't found it yet, though.

Nomadradio, I am not sure which to remove, looks to be 3 crystals for 10 meter. I think I am to pull the lowest 10 Meter crystal. I will remove this one and install the crystal I have and see if it will give me 27MHz.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
