Kenwood ts 570 / 570D / 570DG

Can anyone explain the differences in these radios and variants, or is there more variants of thr 570 ?

In the US there was only the 570D, 570S, 570DG, 570SG. The 570D sold from 96 to 2000. The 570S sold from 97 to 2000. The 570DG & 570SG sold from 2000 to 2007. The 570D and DG was HF. The 570S and SG was HF & 6. The G was offered as an update to non G radios for $150. Sending in the radio to a Kenwood service center was required. The G update had these additions:

Adjustable NR1
In the menu you can select between AUTO ( as in a normal TS570) or 1 (min.) - 9 (max.).
TX monitor ( self-control)
TX monitor allows you to monitor the work TX equalizer and speech processor (except the RTTY mode ) .
New bands DSP CW filter
Added 80Hz, 150Hz, 500Hz CW filter modes , the total number of DSP filters, user-selectable , brought to 11.
New beat cancel mode
Now mode B.C.2. suppresses the teletype , several carriers at the same time , claps of CW sound much softer.
Added new way to CW AUTO TUNE
CW AUTO TUNE is now associated with RIT. You can enable it in the MENU .
Manual setting of the ratio of the relative duration of dots and dashes.
In the CW offered a 16- step range of ratios in the range of 1:2.5 - 1:4.0 .
DSP CW filter - Monitor
Using the programmable key PF, you can quickly preview aired on the broadband filter working
DSP CW to narrowband filter.
RX.EQ.
EQ running at the same reception TX.EQ.
DSP filters in the TX / RX EQ.
This can be a computer program to create a performance DSP filters and record them in transiver.sm.zdes
MIC gain
