I found the ALC issue in R11, 15 & 16 and now I have ALC. Im looking at voltages on V1 & V2 and Im not seeing the 6.2vac RX? All the other voltages on existing pins are good in both rx & tx. Were does the 6.2Vac come from?

Were does the 6.2Vac come from?

From the heater-supply secondary of the power transformer and through the Heater switch on the front panel.

Feeds 12.6 Volts from the heater switch directly to the heater of the 12BY7A driver. The two 6.3-Volt final heaters are in series. Have a look at both sockets and the wire jumper that runs between pin 2 of one final, and pin 7 of the other socket.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
