Hello all, i have a rci 2990 that was all done up by al at sparkys it can do 50 w dead key and swing 150 and was wondering how well this base would work with a klv 1000p with the svetlana tubes in it. I have a guy near by that has one he's looking to unload and i am thinking of getting it. Are these good boxes and what kind of real wattage will it do?
 

After looking at the specs, (Input Power 60W AM/FM, 120W SSB) I would say that is too much drive. Those KLV amps have a reputation for wanting you to stay well within their specs or smoke happens.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
