good morning gentlman, and ladies i have a question i have a klv1000 amp using an old antenna specialsit 1/2 ground plane , i have good swr 1.2 to 1.3 at the high end. my problem is when it rains im not getting full power on all three settings swr remain the same i have the the antenna grounded . was wondering if this has happened to anyone else is there a fix ? 73s to the next time my friends joe haas jr kd2aag
 

I experience slightly reduced output on my external meter after a rain with both my Antron and 3 element beam.
Not sure if it's for real or if it's the water fooling the meter.
I try to avoid long keyups right after or during a rain.

Who has the real explanation for this?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
