This a beautiful radio inside and out ... I've made videos featuring it on my Youtube channel many times. It's one of my favorite radios in my collection. It has had the electrolytic capacitors updated and has always performed great ... until today. I plugged it in, hooked it up and turned it on and no power. Not a flicker, or a **POOF**, or a flash of light , or a pop ... nothing. It acted like it wasn't even plugged in . And I have no idea why , because it was working great the last time I used it without any issues, or any signs that it was having any problems . So I thought I'd see if anyone here has any ideas, because I don't even know where to start looking to be honest ... but yes, I did check the fuse . ;)

Oh wow! I had one of those back in the day :D
If it is the switch and you replace it, put a 10nf or 22nf X2-type cap across the contacts. It suppresses the arc cause by making/breaking the current to the heavily inductive power transformer.
