Does anyone own or owned/used a layffayet 140 am ssb base transceiver? I know thay use the cyber net 002a or something like that. I perfer the uniden 858 or 8719 but this layffayet has a wonderful look. It's very impressive to the eye. If there in 100% proper working order h ow do thay compare to a president/uniden Madison? Are the recive and audio are as nice as the Madison uniden or president models? Sometimes looks can be misleading. So what do y'all say?
