LDG RT-10 external tuner works with Yaesu ATAS mode

I've looked at this tuner a few times. Just wish it had a wider range. 800 ohms is it's limit. I don't think their 600 watt model is any better.
I imagine Yaesu isn't none to happy. They seem very protective of anything that interfaces with their stuff, other than what they sell.
