I purchased a 259c from mfj a couple years ago. It only worked in half of the hf spectrum and vhf was hit and miss. I contacted the place I bought it from and they told me I could sent it to them..they would send it back to mfj and then send me a replacement. Or I could contact mfj directly. I contacted mfj, explained my issue. Dealt with a very nice guy. Sent a replacement out with a return shipping label for the bad unit. The 2nd 259c works as it should. I would contact mfj and explain your situation again and see if you can get another unit to replace yours NOT just yours looked at again. The squeaky wheel gets the grease... @ W4KVW:I will not be there but hopefully by the end of this month I will have my New tower and antennas back in the air including my M2 6M5X. The old tower and all of my antennas came down in October 2023 during a Hurricane.+1
