Well anything that will take 6LQ6's will easily take EL-509's or 519's. Some modification to the PI or PI-L network might be needed. Also a couple of pin swaps on the sockets. Also, for the 12 pin tubes 6LF6's etc, there are other tubes that can be used and are readily available. Same goes for the 8950's or the M2057's. They are basically a 12 volt filament version of the 6LF6 series.
