Lincoln PTT problem

I've got a problem with my mic on my Lincoln.I have to push excessively hard to get it to work.This has only just started to happen in the last week or so,and is mostly on FM.



What can the problem be,and as I have a spare 4 pin Uniden mic,would I be better changing to this as I'm not that bothered about the channel buttons on the Lincoln mic,and which wires from the 4 pin,go to where on the 5 pin?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
