I don`t recall the VR number off the top of my head, its in the back, left hand corner, with the radio faceing you, one is AM power, one is SSB, I think they are silkscreened on the board.

If you do not find it, let me know and I will look.

Peddler........didn't Tom Bridge do your radio? If it's like my HR2600 then the vari power should work on SSB too!

VR104 is the ALC. Adjust it for max power on ssb, then back it off about 10% so you don't get clipping.

Where if at all can I turn up the SSB power in this radio. It has a variable power that works on AM only.

Thanks
