Little wilson antenna?

What do you think of the little wilson? Do you like it very well or what?

well, it will work.
thats about the only good thing i can say about it.


i wouldnt push more than a couple hundred watts through it, and you will need the wattage because this antenna doesnt get out very far at all when compared to its big brother the wilson 1000.

the lil wil and the 1000 are in completely different classes as far as how well they get out.

can you tell im not very fond of the lil wil yet? LOL

all that being said, its not very expensive and is at least a real CB antenna.
its better than buying one of those 2 foot center loaded antennas for sure.

i ran one and still keep it as a backup . i had a uniden 78 in front of it and a 2x1446 amp and it did ok locally and talked skip . when i went a 10k with a stud mount in the roof there was a definite difference . if you can possibly spend more to get the 1000 or a 10k do it , but if you just cant budget more the lil will is as good or better than any other antenna/mount/coax setup youll get for $30 .

Yeah, I got a little setup in my workshop and at least i can talk to my buddys

they work good for thier lenth.but if ya can afford more id get
at least a wilson 500 .there around 4ft. and perform close to a wilson 1000
