I have worked a bunch of countries with an OCF dipole and 200 watts out of the radio. That being said there are times an amp does help. Spend your money first on the best antenna system you can put up. That will be money ahead.

For 11 meters hopefully & not any Amateur Band.No filtering is a No No on the Amateur Bands.
