The amp was connected inline and turned on. The main power light over the Galaxy emblem does not illuminate. When just the pre-amp is on, the main LED light dim, turns off when transmitting, then slowly lights dim again.
The amp is connected in a direct run to the battery. The problem exists with the coax on or off.
If I had a schematic, I could possibly trace out where the problem may be. Faulty component or a bad trace / solder, I have no idea at this point. I definately don't want to sneeze this component.
