Looking for info on CB/ Ham/ "Export" Radios/ Amplifier transport to and use in Brazil

C.C.-
My wife and I have been living in Colombia for 15 years. When we moved, I brought all of my CB and amatuer radio equipment without any hassle. I have purchased a lot of radio equipment over the years, and, again, have not had any problems shipping it into Colombia. There are several amatuer radio clubs in Brazil, so I feel that bringing in equipment is permitted. You might check with one of the Brazilian radio clubs, to get specific info, but I believe that any radio equipment you want to bring in there is permitted.
