I have a National Radio Model RF-B40. The FM is very good but I am disappointed by SW because the tuning frequency is 5KHz and I cannot tune in precisely. Kindly let me know which of the following models have a 1 KHz tuning frequency:

Grunding Traveller II Digital

Thanks and regards,

"Radio tunes at 1 KHz and 5 KHz steps; if one tunes quickly, the steps are 10 KHz, and 100 KHz. FM also has 2 tuning rates. One can also advance upward or downward 1 entire band at a time on sw. The radio does not retain last tuned frequency in each sw band, but does retain last sw station tuned, last am station tuned, and last fm station tuned."

"Frequencies for SW go from 2.3-23MHz with 5KHz tuning steps. You can select specific bands by repeatedly pressing the SW button; 60m, 49m, 41m, 31m, 25m, 22m, 19m, 16m, and 13m bands are available"

Tecsun makes really good portables now. I would look to those.
Grundig is just living off their brandname and past. There newest stuff is not great.
