This is one of the reasons why you will see guys running 2-3 amps daisy chained then feeding into a huge 32pill or more transistor amp or monster 10 LDMOS or tube amp setup's.

Less amps in series = a more linear signal. Thus more power on the frequency your keying on and less gay watts.
