Maco V5/8 (or any other vertical) above a 4 element yagi

So any opinions or comments on this type of setup? Mine is this way (pic below), of course with the radials off of the Maco, and I do get good results, but however, to me in theory, it seems as if one would be somewhat sharing/stealing the power of the other one in TX, and possibly even in RX. Has anyone out here ever ran this scenario in an antenna modeling program to see exactly what happens to the radiation pattern as well? I'm 50' to the yagi boom.

It should be okay, mine is set up like that.

I will add that whichever direction the beam is parked does increase rx noise on the vertical. If I park due south towards the equator, I get plenty of static on the beam, and also the vertical. It never seemed to hinder my comms though. So when I'm not using the beam, I leave it parked in a quiet direction.
