In this video STN is doing a quality comparison between the Chameleon P-Loop, and the Alpha Coaxial Loop (aka Handy Loop) series.

Visit my Alpha Loop page http://www.survivaltechnology.net/alp...

Almost weekly, I receive messages from people who have been deceived or misled by the marketing from Alpha Antenna. but knowing something has to be done, I decided to go ahead and publish this video, even though updates have been msde to the coaxial loop antenna series. Unfortunately many of the same deceptive marketing practices from Alpha remain in play.
It's important to emphasize no desire to trash companies! Personally I would rather see companies building better products, and being more honest about the capabilities of these products, over anything else.

Finally I challenge Alpha Antennas to step up to the plate, meeting the expectations of the community and limiting the deceptive practices used to promote its products.

I know this post is a little old, but I have been researching good portable setups recently for HF use. I'm finding that the build quality of Chameleon antennas are pretty impressive. And, they're a sponsor of this forum, to boot. Thanks for sharing this video!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
